Group of Joe Burrow supporters clash in a messy altercation

Two Bengals fans seemed so distraught over Joe Burrow’s injuries that they began fighting each other before others could join in. It was a peculiar scene, really.

One fan was sporting a Burrow jersey with the number 9, while another wore a Bengals jersey displaying the record of “Your Mom” and number 69. This altercation unfolded during the Bengals’ 31-27 victory over the Jaguars on Sunday.

The skirmish coincided with Bon Jovi’s “Livin’ On A Prayer” playing in the background, which somehow added to the bizarre atmosphere at Paycor Stadium. A video captured a man in the number 69 jersey being held back by a woman, evidently engaged to someone in a Burrow jersey. Then two men in Burrow jerseys grappled, leading one to fall to the ground.

In another moment, a fan wearing a black hat found himself punched by another individual sporting white hair. It was chaotic, to say the least.

Security stepped in, trying to break up the fracas before the video ended after a tense 41 seconds. According to reports from TMZ, the argument erupted following Burrow’s injury.

Cincinnati’s coach, Zach Taylor, later confirmed that Burrow suffered a turf toe injury and might require surgery. “I don’t want to make a decision about the IR right now,” he told reporters on Monday.

Supporting his backup quarterback, Jake Browning, Taylor mentioned, “We have a lot of confidence in Jake. He proved that yesterday… He’s earned the right to get in the spotlight.”
