Dawson, a native of North Manchester, Indiana, about 100 miles north of Indianapolis, had “deathed suicide” when he headed to the Washington, D.C. area, according to information given by Indiana officers.

Authorities believe he wanted to commit a “suicide by a police officer.”

He was shot near the executive office building in Eisenhower after an agent who investigated the alert faced him.

Dawson has been previously arrested for possessing marijuana and drug paraphernalia in 2018, but Indiana court records show that he has no other criminal history.

He is rushed to a hospital in DC, where his condition is still unknown.

President Trump was on the property of Marlago, Florida at the time of the shooting, not at the White House.
