If you make your business more expensive to operate, and you don’t pass those extra costs on to your consumers, they will go out of business. Ultimately it doesn’t matter because the elites are safe. Meanwhile, consumers face higher prices, workers lose their jobs, and elites argue over the meaning of baked goods.
