A recent video from the AI startup Astronomer features Gwyneth Paltrow, who has become entwined in a fraud scandal involving former CEO Andy Byron and HR enthusiast Christine Cabott.
Paltrow, who was previously married to Coldplay’s Chris Martin, made an appearance as the company’s “temporary” spokesperson in a short video last week. She sidestepped questions about the team amidst a “Kiss Cam” incident.
In her nearly one-minute LinkedIn video, she mentioned, “I was very temporarily employed and spoke on behalf of over 300 astronomers.”
“Astronomers have been getting a lot of questions lately, and they wanted me to tackle the most common ones,” she added.
Her appearance drew reactions like, “Omg! What the actual—” as she joked about the company’s suitability for running Apache Airflow.

The drama surrounding Byron and Cabot unfolded at a Coldplay concert last Wednesday, where a Jumbotron at Gillette Stadium inadvertently spotlighted the pair, sparking laughter and surprise.
