Josh Allen Reflects on Life with Hailee Steinfeld

Josh Allen, the star quarterback for the Bills, shared insights about his life since marrying Hailee Steinfeld last May in California. In a recent interview with ESPN, he opened up about the impact their relationship has had on him.

“Maybe I’m more than just a football player,” Allen mentioned. He reflected on his childhood dreams of being where he is today, emphasizing that, while he hopes to play football as long as he can, there is fundamentally more to life beyond the sport.

Drafted seventh overall in 2018, Allen has made a significant mark in Buffalo, including three Pro Bowl nominations over his eight seasons. At 29, he’s been linked to Steinfeld, who is 28, since ahead of the 2023 NFL season. This was before he earned league MVP honors in a standout 2024 season.

In the October 2025 interview, he expressed gratitude for his wife’s support, saying, “She’s been such a big part. When I get home, she’s my biggest fan, my biggest supporter. She’s just the best.” This mutual support extends to their careers, with Allen defending Steinfeld’s performance in her recent film, “Sinners,” while she enthusiastically attends his games.

Despite being at the pinnacle of his career with a lucrative six-year, $330 million contract extension signed in March and a 4-2 record this season, Allen finds immense fulfillment in his personal life with Steinfeld. “My wife is an incredible, undeniable rock star… everything I need in my life,” he remarked.

As the Bills head into their bye week following two consecutive losses, including a recent defeat to the Falcons, Coach Sean McDermott emphasized the need for a fresh start. He said, “We’ve got to start over, start from scratch, figure this out and work hard to execute on it.”

So far this season, Allen has thrown for 1,397 yards, with 11 touchdowns and four interceptions. The Bills will be back on the field on October 26 against the Panthers.
