No tricks, just a treat.
In a Halloween surprise, HBO Max is releasing new episodes of “It: Welcome to Derry” two days ahead of schedule.
Subscribers can start streaming Episode 2 at midnight on Halloween, rather than waiting for its regular Sunday 9 p.m. ET slot.
This new series expands on the universe established in Andy Muschietti’s films, “It” (2017) and “It Chapter 2” (2019), which were based on Stephen King’s novel. “Welcome to Derry” takes place 27 years prior to “It” and explores Pennywise’s sinister backstory.
Here’s how to catch Episode 2 of “It: Welcome to Derry” just in time for Halloween.
Episode 2 Release Date:
Episode 2 will be available for streaming on HBO Max starting October 31 at 12:00 a.m. ET. It will also air on HBO’s cable channel during its regular time slot on Sunday evenings at 9 p.m. ET.
