Hannah Cavinder became an honorary Georgia Bulldog on Saturday.
The University of Miami women's basketball guard was in a Georgia uniform on Saturday when her boyfriend, quarterback Carson Beck, and his top-ranked team defeated the No. 14 Clemson Tigers, 34-3, at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.
Before the match, Cavinder, 23, posted a picture on her Instagram story wearing a red crop top and white skirt combo, paired with boots.
She geotagged Atlanta and also added a dog emoji as the de facto caption.
A separate Instagram account for the Cavinder Twins shared several photos from inside the stadium, including footage of a large pre-game meal that included Chick-fil-A sandwiches and a variety of seafood.
The social media post was Beck's This was confirmed in an interview with ESPN this week. The college athletes were indeed officially in a relationship.
The Beck and Cavinder rumors began in earnest in July. shared their video Out and about with her twin sister, Hailey Cavinder, and her boyfriend, Cowboys tight end Jake Ferguson.
Beck also shared a photo. On his Instagram page, he posted a picture in which he can be seen holding Cavinder's hand.
“A lot has changed since 2021,” Beck told ESPN. “I've been through a lot both personally and through football, sitting around and waiting and not being able to play and then being able to start last season. Looking back today and where I'm at now, I'm just so grateful and thankful for the position I'm in.”
On the football field, it was a big day for Beck, who completed 23 of 33 passes for 278 yards and two touchdowns as Georgia tried to win its third national title in the last decade.
Both Cavinder brothers are returning to Miami for their fifth collegiate seasons.
