Ahead of Harris' concession speech, the Trump campaign confirmed that Harris had conceded the presidential election to President-elect and former President Donald Trump and called him to congratulate her on her victory.

Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris spoke by phone earlier today to congratulate Ms. Harris on her historic victory,” Trump campaign communications director Stephen Chan said in a statement. “President Trump recognized Vice President Harris' strength, professionalism and tenacity throughout the campaign, and both leaders agreed on the importance of unifying the country.”
Trump, who will serve as the 45th president and become the 47th president, secured the path to 270 votes in the Electoral College, making the biggest comeback and winning the presidential election.
