Harris Faulkner gets honest about reporter from NABJ event — then she makes election prediction that Democrats will hate

Fox News host Harris Faulkner on Thursday accused ABC News reporter Rachel Scott of trying to corner Donald Trump with “gotcha” questions.

On Wednesday, Trump appeared at a panel for the National Association of Black Journalists in Washington, where the appearance quickly erupted in controversy, as Scott didn’t even say “hello” to Trump and immediately began grilling him with questions that implied he was a racist.

“I mean, it didn’t take much for him to show some humanity and in that moment, I was so disappointed that it didn’t happen.”

In typical Trumpian fashion, the former president blasted Scott for his “nasty” questioning.

Faulkner, one of three black journalists to question Trump at the NABJ event, reflected on the incident in an interview on “Fox & Friends,” expressing disappointment in the way Trump was treated.

Not only did sound and technical problems mar the event (which Faulkner blames on NABJ and ABC News), but Faulkner also blasted Scott for stirring up emotions with a headline-grabbing “gotcha moment,” though he didn’t name him. Faulkner lamented the fact that the emotional moment made the headlines, not the fact that Trump willingly walked “into the middle of a racial storm,” he said.

But that’s not the only problem with the event, Faulkner continued.

Like Trump, Faulkner takes great issue with the fact that Trump did not receive a proper welcome.

“The president didn’t even come on stage and say hello to acknowledge that it’s been 18 days since he survived the assassination attempt. He said, ‘I’m going to ask you some tough questions, but Mr. President, welcome. I’m glad you’re still here,'” she said.

“I mean, it didn’t take that long for me to show my humanity and in that moment, I was so disappointed that it didn’t happen,” she added. “I had no control over it, but it set off an emotional start, and you and I both know that once that happens and you’re interviewing someone, there’s an intention behind it.”

At the end of his reflection, Faulkner made a prediction about the 2024 election: “The only color that’s going to matter is green.”

“I don’t know if people are going to vote this time because of the color of their skin or the texture of their hair,” she predicted. “It’s about money. The color is green.”

If Faulkner is right, Vice President Kamala Harris will have a hard time overcoming President Joe Biden’s record and far-left economic views — after all, Americans remember how expensive groceries were under Trump.
