Vice President Kamala Harris had a clear idea of where she wanted her family to stand as she spoke to them during a doorknock photo shoot in Pennsylvania.
Harris joined the rally attendees in Reading, Pennsylvania, where a family was caught on camera standing outside as the Democratic presidential candidate walked up to the front door and said, “Hello, everyone…I'm sorry for the intrusion.” Ta.
As Harris hugged the woman and possibly their son, the man yelled, “Oh my god.”
“I wasn't expecting it…I thought it was Mr. Shapiro,” the man was quoted as saying, referring to Democratic Gov. Josh Shapiro, who has been campaigning with Harris in recent days.
“Well, I want to knock on the door,” Harris tells the family.
“Oh, do you want to knock on the door?” the man asked. Harris replied, “Yes,” and everyone turned away and went back to the door as the photographers repositioned themselves for the shot.
As the couple stood in the doorframe, Harris was captured on camera speaking to them.
Video of the encounter was amplified by former President Trump's 2024 X campaign.
“Kamala's 'door knock' in Pittsburgh included meeting with supporters outside his home and requesting that they move to the door so reporters could film the fake door knock,” Trump said. the war room wrote. “It’s humiliating!”
Trump and Harris traveled to Pennsylvania on Monday to make a final pitch to voters in the key battleground state.
“Momentum is on our side,” Harris said as she finished her night in Philadelphia on the steps of the museum made famous by the movie “Rocky.”
She also rallied with supporters in Allentown, Scranton and Pittsburgh, making her way through Redding to visit a Puerto Rican restaurant and knock on doors with campaign volunteers to promote herself a little.
President Trump began the day in North Carolina and ended in Michigan, but spoke in Reading and Pittsburgh in between.

In Pittsburgh, President Trump told supporters in closing arguments delivered by his campaign aides that “over the past four years, the American people have suffered one catastrophic failure, betrayal, and humiliation after another.”
“We do not have to settle for weakness, incompetence, decline and decline,” he added.

Pennsylvania received the most electoral votes of any battleground state, making it the top prize of the race.
A win there would pave the way for either candidate to reach the White House.
