Harris Hails Biden’s ‘Courage’ on Third Anniversary of His Kabul Bombing Disaster

On the third anniversary of the Kabul airport bombing that killed 13 American soldiers and 170 Afghans during President Joe Biden’s botched Afghanistan withdrawal, Vice President Kamala Harris released a statement praising Biden’s “brave” decision to withdraw and insisting he made no notable mistakes.

Harris took over as the 2024 presidential candidate after an ailing Biden was forced by Democratic Party leadership to withdraw from the race. Claimed She “mourns and honors” the 13 Americans who died each day, but never takes responsibility for the series of tragic errors and lapses in judgment that took their lives.

Instead, she delivered a boilerplate speech praising the “extraordinary skill, discipline and dedication” of the slain U.S. soldiers, before praising Biden for conducting a messy withdrawal from Afghanistan.

As I have said, President Biden has made the courageous and right decision to end the longest war in American history. Over the past three years, our Administration has demonstrated that we can eliminate terrorists, including the leaders of al Qaeda and ISIS, without sending troops to combat zones. I will not hesitate to take all actions necessary to counter the terrorist threat and protect the American people and our homeland.

Harris previously I boasted. She was “the last person in the room” when the decision was made to begin the disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan.

Biden’s office release In a statement marking the third anniversary of the Kabul bombing, Biden’s staff denied any responsibility for the tragedy of the withdrawal. Like Harris’ statement, Biden’s staff simply repeated the names of the service members who had been killed and maintained that the withdrawal from Afghanistan had not hindered U.S. counterterrorism efforts in the region.

Biden himself Gone On the anniversary of the Kabul bombing, the president disappeared from public view. The White House said he was on a 13-day leave of absence. The White House did not say who would be making executive decisions in his absence.

Contrary to Biden and Harris’ claims, General Eric Kurilla, commander of U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM), said It warned that a failed withdrawal in 2023 would result in “reductions in intelligence collection, analytical resources, and intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance assets,” making U.S. efforts against al-Qaida and ISIS “challenging.”

“While we can see the broad outlines of the attack plans, we lack the granularity to understand the full threat picture,” Kurilla said.

Biden and Harris also did not take responsibility for the panicked response to the Kabul bombing. Murdered The attack killed innocent Afghan aid workers and their families. The Pentagon described the failure to retaliate as a “tragic mistake.” No one in the Biden administration or the Pentagon be held accountable For murdering an innocent family.

April 2024, CNN Discovered Evidence long withheld from the public by the Biden-Harris administration casts serious doubt on the official story of the Kabul bombing, suggesting that there was far more gunfire during the airport attack and that dozens of victims may have been killed by U.S. Marines rather than by bombing.

National security officials Confirmed The Kabul bomber was an ISIS-K terrorist named Abdul Rehman al-Logri, who was released from Bagram Air Base in July 2021 after Biden and Harris inexplicably abandoned the critical facility.

“President Biden’s disastrous handling of the Afghanistan withdrawal set off a chain of events that culminated in a tragic death outside Kabul airport on August 26th. Thirteen Americans, including one from my own district, have died as a result of poorly judged and executed troop withdrawal,” Rep. Ken Calvert (R-Calif.) said in September 2021.

The masterminds of the Kabul bombing were finally brought to justice, but not by the Biden-Harris administration. The Taliban Murdered An unnamed ISIS-K leader will be arrested in April 2023.

Radio Free Europe (RFE) Observed Afghan civilians are still reeling from the trauma of a brutal attack that was claimed by the Islamic State in Khorasan group (ISIS-K) on Monday, killing 170 people. Kabul airport was packed with terrified people trying to flee Taliban control when the ISIS-K suicide bomber blew himself up.

“Suddenly there was a big explosion and I was thrown to the ground. Screams started and people started running everywhere. I remember seeing blood and dust all around before I lost consciousness,” recalled a former university student who gave his name as Samsole.

Three years later, Samsour can barely walk and his family is surviving on remittances from his brother, who works in Iran. Samsour says they have sold all their possessions to pay for his medical expenses.

“I hope Allah punishes those responsible for destroying my life and the life of so many others,” he said.
