According to the Trump campaign, Vice President Kamala Harris is “bleeding hot” over the rise in immigrant crime in the US.
In the press release: issued On Tuesday, the Trump campaign criticized Harris for “not visiting the southern border this week.”
“Kamala Harris' last-minute visit to the southern border this week – her first in 1,187 days – is the clearest indication yet of her humiliating desperation, but it cannot hide the excruciating devastation she has inflicted on innocent Americans,” the campaign said in a press release.
The campaign noted that by allowing “tens of millions of unvetted illegal immigrants” from around the world into the United States, it has allowed “violent criminals, terrorists and gang members” to enter the country, and cited several examples of crimes committed by illegal immigrants.
An example of a crime committed by an illegal immigrant is Brandon Ortiz Vito, a previously deported illegal immigrant who pleaded guilty to murdering Ruby Garcia in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and abandoning her body along a highway.
The Trump campaign also mentioned Saul Rivera Ramirez, who was arrested and charged with vehicular homicide and unlicensed operation of a vehicle for hitting and killing Christian Sulka outside Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
As Breitbart News has previously reported, Americans across the country are experiencing a wave of immigrant crimes, ranging from retail thefts to sexual assaults and murders, with several U.S. cities reporting immigrant crimes perpetrated by the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua.
As immigration crime continues to be rampant across the country, Democrats and mainstream media have used “family separation” as a talking point against former President Donald Trump's promise to deport illegal immigrants.
In an NBC News interview with Sen. J.D. Vance (R-Ohio), host Kristen Welker ignored the fact that under the Biden administration, open border policies have resulted in “at least 5,000 migrant deaths” due to people being permanently separated from their families.
As Breitbart News previously reported, President Joe Biden claimed in his State of the Union address in March that he “won't separate” immigrant families, but his immigration policies “separate vast numbers of foreign families” as temporary and seasonal workers often leave their families behind.
But Biden's immigration policy intentionally separates large numbers of foreign families by allowing single workers to cross the border while excluding most of their spouses, children, parents and siblings.
“If Kamala is elected in November, things will get even worse,” the Trump campaign added in a press release. “She supports ending deportations, mass amnesty, sanctuary cities, abolishing ICE, decriminalizing illegal border crossings, and providing free health care to illegal immigrants, all while coddling illegal immigrants.”
