Harris surrogate gives firsthand account of the ‘epic disaster’ of election night loss to Trump

Lindy Lee, a member of the DNC National Finance Committee and Harris' campaign fundraiser, said this week what's wrong with Vice President Kamala Harris' campaign, which has caused an “epic disaster” against President-elect Donald Trump. I analyzed what it was.

Lee spoke to Fox & Friends Weekend co-host Will Kaine on Saturday about Biden's choice of Harris as his successor, the Harris campaign's overconfidence in polling data, and former President Obama's delay in announcing his support. He said he believed that multiple factors contributed to the failure of the election. He became vice president as the Democratic candidate.

“The truth is, this is just an epic disaster. This is a billion-dollar disaster,” Lee declared Saturday morning, summing up the Harris campaign's results.

Democrats aiming for blame after 'humiliating' election loss should start with the media: WSJ columnist

DNC member Lindy Lee spoke to Fox & Friends Weekend about why the Harris campaign ended up being such a “disaster.”

Democratic Party officials have said that Harris was a bad choice to become the nominee, and that she was provoked by President Biden to narrow the possibility of a showdown with Trump out of anger at President Biden's decision to abandon her candidacy. He suggested that it was something.

She said if Trump was such an “existential threat” to the United States, as Democrats have said, the process should have been to vote on Biden's successor “instead of crowning someone.” .

“Actually, President Biden, I think it was a big F for the party to continue supporting her 30 minutes after he left office,” she said.

“Are you suggesting he's trying to link up the party with Kamala Harris?” Cain asked. She replied, “It's like sticking it on a man.”

Mr. Lee insisted that he was not on the salary of the Democratic candidate and told Mr. Kaine that he was there to tell him the “truth” about what happened on the campaign trail, calling it a “disaster.” She said the Harris campaign raised between $1 billion and $18 million, only to lose it.

DNC members said they raised money for the campaign with the understanding that the election was a “race within the margin of error.”

“I raised those millions of dollars. I have friends who are responsible and have to explain what happened because they said it was a race with a margin of error. I was promised – [Harris campaign chair] Jen O'Malley Dillon assured us all that Harris would win. She even released a video saying Harris would win. I believed in her and the donors believed in her, so they wrote a big check. ”

ESPN host Stephen A. Smith furious at Harris for avoiding interview: 'What are you hiding for?'

“I just feel like a lot of us are misunderstood,” Lee told Kaine elsewhere, adding that the campaign used “inside information that I haven't seen” to explain their credibility. He said he wondered if he knew “that person.”

Kaine then asked Lee about how the Obama family influenced Harris' campaign results.

“I want to point out that they waited three days. Michelle and Barack Obama waited three days to endorse Kamala Harris,” Lee responded. “It was a silence that could be heard all over the world.”

She suggested the delay occurred because the Obamas had no intention of supporting Harris until Biden forced them out. “And before the Biden endorsement, which no one expected, they were vetting people like: [Arizona Senator] mark kelly. Kamala Harris wasn't at the top of the ticket. ”

“I think that was a really great thing for all of you,” he concluded, again accusing Biden's endorsement of obstructionism.
