Harris surrogate Mark Cuban concedes to President-elect Trump: ‘You won fair and square’

Harris' attorney, billionaire investor Mark Cuban, conceded to President-elect Donald Trump on election night.

“Congratulations @realDonald Trump. You won fair and square,” Cuban tweeted shortly after Pennsylvania was called favorable to the Republican candidate, leaving little path to victory for Vice President Kamala Harris. Posted on.

“Congratulations to @ElonMusk. #Godspeed,” Cuban added to fellow billionaire Elon Musk.

Cuban came under fire last week for claiming that he would not campaign with women like former Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley because former President Trump does not date “strong, intelligent women.”

“Donald Trump, I've never seen him around strong, intelligent women. I've never seen him before,” Cuban said. “It's very simple. They're intimidating to him. He doesn't like being challenged by them. And you know, Nikki Haley, his nonsense about reproductive rights, about women. She’ll call him out on the way she looks, the way she treats her, the way she speaks.’ So he can’t have her around. ”

Mr. Cuban later admitted that his statement was a “mistake.”

Mr. Cuban announced last month that he would support Mr. Trump if Ms. Harris did not win.

“If Trump wins, the last time he won, he asked me to work with him on health care and personal protective equipment. [personal protective equipment]I sat down with Peter Navarro and helped him start a mask company and help it grow. All were produced domestically. I do the same. I'm America first,” Cuban said on CNBC.
