Harris, Trump agree to separate town halls on Univision

Vice President Harris and former President Trump have launched two separate Town Hall Hosted by Univision in October.

Journalist Enrique Acevedo will answer undecided questions from Hispanic voters. Trump will take the stage first in Miami on October 8, while Harris will take the stage in Las Vegas on October 10. Both episodes will air at 10pm ET with Spanish translation.

“With more than 36 million Hispanics eligible to vote in the United States, they represent the largest minority group in the country and have the power to influence the outcome of the White House race and the future of the country,” Noticias Univision president Daniel Coronel said in a statement.

Both of the cities chosen have large Hispanic populations. Miami 70 percent Latino, Las Vegas 34 percent Hispanic.

Recent polls have shown the state voters closely matched, with Trump holding a slight lead among Florida voters and Harris ahead of Trump in Nevada.
