Harry Styles nearing deal for 35-show residency at James Dolan’s Las Vegas Sphere: sources

Pop icon Harry Styles was able to quickly bring the boa-covered act to the strip in Las Vegas.

The “Watermelon Sugar” singer and former member of One Direction is taking part in the final negotiations, with up to 35 shows in the final music mecca.

Dolan, also owned by Madison Square Garden and the Knicks and Rangers, was approaching grabbing Beyoncé before those talks began.

However, sports and media moguls have a strong track record with style.

The British superstar had 15 sold out shows at the Garden in 2022. Dolan raised the banner with rafters honoring the singer.

Another factor that indicates the possibility of a reunion is that the singer is managed by Jeffrey Azov. Jeffrey Azov is that his father, Irving, has a long relationship with Dolan. Irving Azov's acts include U2 and the Eagles and Dead & Company.

Financial details that could potentially be contracted with Style were not available.

“We have not commented on artists performing in the realm, except for those who have been presented,” a Sphere spokesperson said.

Full stop management, which represents the style, also declined to comment.

The sphere paid $10 million to produce the residency, and Livenation guaranteed the band a $4 million show, regardless of the number of tickets sold at the 17,500-seat arena.

U2 left for an estimated $170 million in a seven-month residency, previously reported.

Venues usually have less money from concerts than daily films, including “Postcards from Earth” and “V-U2: Immersive Concert Films.”

Country star Kenny Chesney will be the next big act of winning a ball stage with 18 shows in May and June.

According to the Sphere website, he will be followed by the Backstreet Boys with a run of 18 shows, which will end on August 17th.

Styles does not have any future tours planned. Between 2022 and 2023, his “Love on Tour” reportedly won $617 million.

Sphere reported that the number of MSG network subscribers fell 11.5% in the quarter.

The decline in subscribers came as Knicks and Rangers games went out of power for six weeks by cable operator Optimum due to a contract dispute with MSGN.
