Sen. Josh Hawley (R-Missouri) came to Kansas City Chiefs placekicker Harrison Butker’s defense this week after his commencement speech at Benedictine College.
Butker came under fire after giving a speech to freshmen at a Catholic liberal arts college in which he emphasized the importance of being “unapologetically Catholic.”
Her speech included criticism of President Biden’s pro-abortion stance and support for young women in the “vocation” of marriage and motherhood.
