Former Democratic strategist Dan Trenine immediately dismissed the Democratic government's possibility that Minnesota Gov. Tim Waltz is the 2028 presidential candidate.

“In my own opinion, he's awful. So what he showed on the campaign trajectory was that he was a bit weak,” Trenine said. “He is very liberal and will have to protect the tickets for Biden Harris he served… I don't think there's anything I see from him, or anything I see from him.

We were talking about immigration in a key part of the campaign. And it was harmful. And it made me mad. And I was standing there to protect people. And it didn't do a bit of a good thing in the election.”
