What seemed to start the online frenzy was Renee's reaction after Hunter was officially named the Heisman winner last weekend.
After hugging and congratulating Hunter, some people took exception to Lenny sitting down, but everyone else at the New York City venue remained standing and was seated in both directions while he greeted others. They were applauding the stars. Hunter eventually returned to Renee, bent down and gave her another long hug before heading to the stage.
Later, during a handshake event, Renee was criticized for a video of her simply sitting and watching Hunter meet fans.

Despite trying to get people to understand, the comments and criticism of Hunter and Renee continued, so it appears they're only done for the time being.
Meanwhile, Hunter is preparing for what is expected to be his final college game, the Alamo Bowl against BYU. Players projected to be top picks in the NFL draft typically skip bowl games, but Hunter explained why he won't be in that crowd.
“This is definitely important because I started this thing with Coach Prime, Shedur and most of the coaches on the coaching staff, so I wanted to finish it right,” Hunter said on Dec. 13. , he said when asked why he plays.
