Greece, Athens – Kimberly Guilfoyle is already a Greek sense, and she has not even had a confirmation hearing in the US Senate yet.
President Donald Trump’s top allies, appointed US ambassador for Greece, are eagerly awaiting here at the Republic of Hellenic. The Prime Minister’s leader is excited to come as soon as she is confirmed by the US Senate through his top officials across the government, through cultural, business and political leaders across the country.
“We look forward to her being confirmed,” Greek Prime Minister Kiriakos Mitotakis told Breitbart News last week at his office at the Maximos Mansion in Athens. “I look forward to seeing her as soon as she comes to Greece. She thinks the Greek-American relationships are the best ever, so she’s essentially coming when we have a very strong relationship that we can improve even further.”
Greek Health Minister Adonis Georgiadis served as one of the two vice presidents of the Greece Governor Party’s New Democrats, and repeated the sentiment, saying he was excited by Guilfoyle’s arrival. He realized his close relationship with Guilfoyle and the president and his ability to reach him directly.
“I haven’t seen her yet, but I have to say that the first thing I saw was great,” Georgiadis told Breitbart News in an interview in his office. “The speech I gave at our National Day ceremony at the White House was a great speech and, as I understand it, she is really excited to come to Greece. This is a very good sign. And the Greek President’s decision is a sign that he is really important to have someone really close to him.
Aieronymus II of Athens, the archbishop of the Greek church, told Breitbart News she was excited to be coming too.
“We look forward to her arrival. I will let her know about many important steps that need to be taken slowly but surely in the right direction,” Ieronymos II said in an interview. “I have lived and spent almost decades in Europe, so I have developed a global perspective, including Greece. The Greeks are the people of Philotimo, honorable, hardworking, hardworking, respectful people. But over the years they have endured many difficulties. Ambassadors that bring our two great nations even closer.”
Guilfoyle will not be able to communicate directly with the Greek government until she confirms the Senate. But after Breitbart News spent everything in Greece last week, it’s apparent in abundance after spending the first few days in Athens and then in Delphi for the rest of the week at the Delphi Economic Forum. The journalist gave several TV and news media interviews with Greek media outlets last week and this week. All reporters ask Guilfoyle and what she is like as a person and what the Greeks should expect from the ultimate US ambassador.
Christos Marafatos, run for Trump by the US-based organization Greeks before Trump’s 2016 victory, met Breitbart News on Delphi later in the week, recalling his first interview with Breitbart News, dating back to the frontlines of the 2016 election. Asked about the energy surrounding the ultimate US ambassador Guilfoyle, Maraphatos told Breitbart News that the Greeks were rightly excited about it.
“The Greeks and Greek Americans are very excited that Kimberly Guilfoyle will represent the Greece United States. She is smart, fearless and loves our country,” Marafatos told Breitbart News. “Her presence sends a strong message. Under President Trump, America stands strong with Greece. Big things are coming!”
The biggest question you get when Breitbart News is asked by locals about Guilfoyle is what it takes and how long it takes for her to come here? Well, you probably know the birthplace of democracy, and sometimes it takes a little time for democracy to unfold. And Democrats in the US Senate are slowly keeping many of Trump’s candidates in place despite the necessary support among the Senate GOP majority. Nevertheless, Guilfoyle is expected to hold a confirmation hearing before the Senate Foreign Affairs Committee, perhaps in the spring or early summer, and be confirmed by the US Senator soon after.
