“My proudest legacy is that of a peacebuilder and unifier. That's what I want to be, a peacebuilder and unifier. As of yesterday, the day before I took office, “I am glad that hostages in the Middle East are being returned to their families,” Trump said in a speech announcing that “America will restore its rightful place as a nation.” It is the greatest, most powerful, and most respected nation on earth, inspiring awe and admiration throughout the world. ”

President Trump said, “Soon, we are going to change the name of the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America,'' drawing a laugh from Clinton. “And we will restore the name of our great president, William McKinley, to its rightful place on Mount McKinley.”

In his speech, President Trump said the United States would also take back the Panama Canal, which was “foolishly” given to Panama.

“So think about it, the United States spent more money on projects than ever before and lost 38,000 lives building the Panama Canal, because of this stupid gift that should never have been given. We have been treated very badly, and Panama's promises to us have been broken,” Trump said.

“The purpose of our trade and the spirit of the treaty have been completely violated. We gave it to Panama, and we'll take it back. ”
