Hochul orders CUNY to remove ‘Palestinian Studies’ posting over antisemitism concerns

New York Governor Kathy Hochul has planned to fill in plans to fill in a professorial post at City University of New York (CUNY) Conxtall College of Palestine Studies.

“Governor Hochul has directed Cuny to immediately remove this job and conduct a thorough review of the positions to ensure that anti-Semitic theory is not promoted in the classroom,” Governor's spokesman said. I told the New York Post.

The outlet reported that a post to Hunter College, a component of the university, has since been deleted, but there are still screenshots detailing its location.

“We are looking for historically grounded scholars who will employ key lenses for issues related to Palestine, such as settler colonialism, genocide, human rights, apartheid, migration, climate, infrastructure devastation, health, race, gender, sexuality, and more.

The post went on to explain that faculty duties would have included “research, education and service to the department and university.”

Fox News Digital has reached out to Hochul's office and Cuny for comment, but has not yet received a response.
