Hoda Kotb shares a message as Savannah Guthrie's mother is missing.

Hoda Kotb has extended her support to Savannah Guthrie during a difficult time, as Guthrie’s mother has gone missing in Arizona.

Although Kotb, 61, hasn’t commented directly on the situation, she shared a post on Instagram early Monday that simply read “hope,” accompanied by a rainbow image.

Her followers, visibly heartbroken, filled the comments with messages of encouragement and prayers for Savannah’s family.

One fan expressed, “May a miracle happen to Savannah’s mom! I’m praying. My heart hurts,” while another shared similar sentiments.

As of now, Kotb’s representative has not provided any comments regarding the matter.

Nancy Guthrie, Savannah’s mother, was last seen Saturday evening at her home in Catalina Foothills, Arizona. Authorities are “extremely concerned” as she left the premises and has not been located since. Homicide detectives have been looking into the 84-year-old woman’s disappearance, following a report by a family member on Sunday.

They have not dismissed the possibility of foul play.

Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos noted that Nancy is “in poor physical health,” but described her as “cognitively intact” and in “sound mental health.”

Meanwhile, Savannah, 54, was absent from the Today show, with colleagues Sheinelle Jones and Craig Melvin covering the unfolding investigation.

In a statement, Savannah expressed gratitude for the outpouring of support, saying, “We would like to thank everyone for their thoughts, prayers, and messages. Currently, our focus remains on the safe return of our beloved mother.” She also urged anyone with information to contact the Pima County Sheriff’s Department.

Savannah is the youngest of three children born to Nancy and Charles Guthrie, who passed away when Savannah was in high school. Reflecting on her mother’s influence, Savannah highlighted Nancy’s selflessness and her role in encouraging Savannah to pursue her dreams.
