Hollywood actor Nick Pasqual arrested after trying to flee US for allegedly stabbing ex-girlfriend Allie Shehorn

The crazy actor boyfriend of an award-winning Hollywood makeup artist accused of stabbing his estranged lover more than 20 times has been arrested in Texas as he attempted to flee the U.S. for Mexico.

Nick Pascual, 34, is accused of breaking into Allie Shehorn’s home in Sunland, California, around 4:30 a.m. on May 23 and stabbing her multiple times.

Shehorn suffered multiple cuts to his neck, as well as cuts to his arms and abdomen.

The artist and special effects producer, known for his work on “Rebel Moon” and “Mean Girls,” was found later that day by a surrogate mother lying at the scene covered in blood, which he described as “awful to look at.”

“This should never happen to anyone,” said surrogate mother Christine White, 35. He told KTLA at the time. “You never think something like this would happen to you.”

“I had to find her and go into the bedroom where it happened,” she said. “It was a horrible sight.”

Pascual was charged with one count of attempted murder, one count of first-degree burglary and one count of assault on a spouse, cohabitant, fiancé, boyfriend, girlfriend or parent of a child.

He is also accused of “inflicting serious bodily injury on a victim in a situation involving domestic violence.”

Pascual will be extradited to Los Angeles County to face charges there.

If convicted, Pascual faces a maximum sentence of life in state prison.

Shehorn had filed for a restraining order against her ex-husband days before the attack, accusing him of assaulting her at least four times. Daily Mail.

The restraining order states that Pascual assaulted the suspect multiple times, using a belt, breaking down a door, causing a concussion, raping and choking the suspect.

Pascual, an actor who has played minor roles in several productions including “Rebel Moon” and “How I Met Your Mother,” fled the scene after the attack.

Shehoon was rushed to hospital, where he was admitted to the intensive care unit in critical condition and underwent multiple surgeries.

A $1.075 million arrest warrant has been issued for Pascual.

The California District Attorney’s Office announced Wednesday that authorities arrested Pascual at the U.S.-Mexico border crossing in Sierra Blanca.

“My heartfelt condolences go out to the victim of this horrific crime,” Los Angeles County District Attorney Gascón said in a statement. “Authorities, including our Office of Victim Services, will provide her with support and resources as she embarks on the long and difficult journey of recovering from the physical and emotional trauma she has suffered.”

“This heinous incident is a stark reminder of the dangers of domestic violence,” Gascón added. “We will ensure that those responsible for this terrible act are held accountable for their actions.”

Shehorn is “taking positive steps toward recovery,” says makeup artist Jed Dornoff. He wrote on GoFundMe He prepared it for her with a photo of Shehorn standing up with the help of hospital staff and a walker.

“There’s still a very long way to go, but she’s facing it with courage and determination,” Dolnoff added.

The 35-year-old has worked on a number of popular films, including the “Rebel Moon” series, the musical remake of “Mean Girls” and “Babylon.”

She has also won numerous awards for her work in make-up and special effects, especially in horror films. According to her IMDB page.

A fundraising page set up to cover medical and rehabilitation costs had raised more than $90,000 of its $100,000 goal by early Thursday morning.
