The Los Angeles Fire Department issued an evacuation order for parts of the Hollywood Hills, including famous Hollywood Boulevard, after the Sunset Fire broke out Wednesday night.
Immediate mandatory evacuations were issued for Laurel Canyon Boulevard to the west, Hollywood Boulevard to the south, Mulholland Drive to the north and the 101 Freeway to the east, LAFD said in a statement.
The fire is currently burning just over 10 acres near West Hollywood.

The fires occurred near Hollywood landmarks such as the Dolby Theater, TCL Chinese Theater, Hollywood Roosevelt Theatre, Hollywood Bowl, and historic Whitley Heights.
Hollywood Boulevard is currently closed to traffic between La Brea Avenue and Crescent Heights Boulevard. deadline report.
