Claim: MGM's James Bond star Jeffrey Wright has claimed that former President Donald Trump started a fight at Arlington National Cemetery this week as the current Republican presidential candidate was attending a memorial for 13 U.S. service members killed during the Biden-Harris administration's disastrous 2021 withdrawal from Afghanistan.
verdict: False. Former President Donald Trump did not start the fight in Arlington.
Jeffrey Wright's accusations appear to stem from a misinterpretation of an NPR report that Trump campaign staff had gotten into an “altercation” with cemetery officials who were blocking their photo-taking in a restricted area.
The Trump campaign has disputed NPR's reporting.
“There was no physical confrontation as described, and we are prepared to release the footage if such defamatory allegations are made,” Trump campaign spokesman Steven Chang said in a statement. “The facts are that a private cameraman was allowed on the grounds and, for some reason, an anonymous individual who clearly suffered from mental illness decided to physically disrupt a member of President Trump's team during a very solemn ceremony.”
Please give us a president who doesn't start fights in cemeteries. That's a nice thing. It's a small thing.

As reported by Breitbart News, President Trump participated in a wreath-laying ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery on Monday to commemorate the 13 combat soldiers who lost their lives on August 26, 2021, as a result of the Biden-Harris administration's failed attempt to withdraw troops from Afghanistan.
Cheryl Juelz, the aunt of one of the fallen service members, Marine Sergeant Nicole L. Gee, released a statement saying she was “very pleased and grateful that the video and photos were there.”
Neither Kamala Harris nor Joe Biden attended Monday's memorial service. Biden was on vacation in Delaware, and it remains unclear what Harris was doing, although her staff issued a press release.
Kamala Harris has avoided mentioning the disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal during her campaign, and mainstream news outlets have also avoided covering the topic, despite the fact that she was reportedly the last person to speak to President Biden before the administration decided to begin the deadly withdrawal.
