Details Unfold in Diddy’s 2024 Property Raid
This week, agents from Homeland Security Investigations provided insights into last year’s raid on Shawn “Diddy” Combs’ property.
During a trial regarding sex trafficking and assault in Manhattan, HSI agent Gerald Ganon testified about what federal agents discovered when they descended upon Diddy’s Miami estate in 2024. They reportedly used armored vehicles to breach the main entrance of the hip-hop mogul’s residence.
“One of the weapons was found in Diddy’s master bedroom closet, along with some lingerie and platform heels,” Ganon noted.
With significant experience in human trafficking cases, Ganon was in charge as a special agent during the operation. The search, involving around 80 to 90 staff members, took place in Diddy’s expansive 20,000-square-foot home located on Star Island.
Among the items discovered was a loaded rifle. It was just one of many personal belongings found in the master bedroom, as reported.
The former girlfriend of Diddy, Cathy Ventura, testified that she had spotted a handgun in homes they shared across several locations, including Los Angeles and New York City.
She further revealed during her testimony that following the release of her first album under Diddy’s label, her work increasingly involved organizing sex parties primarily aimed at entrepreneurs. “The ‘freak-off’ events became a job, leaving no time for anything else—just the grind to feel normal,” Ventura stated.
Testimony also indicated that agents patiently monitored Diddy’s movements before executing the raid, which appeared precisely timed.
“It feels like they wanted to undermine Diddy’s influence, stripping him of key leverage,” theorized commentator Jason Whitlock. “It seems there’s now an effort to shift whatever damaging information he held to the Department of Justice.”
In the coming days, federal prosecutors plan to call rapper Kid Cudi to testify. Ventura also mentioned Diddy’s anger upon learning she was meeting with him.
