Homeless woman left to die inside impounded vehicle after getting injured by drunk driver, lawsuit says

Lopez was originally charged with negligence of a vehicle, He pleaded On charges of DUI causing serious injuries. He faced up to six years in prison, Judgment One year or five years of probation.

The family is suing $50 million in damages.

“Just because someone is homeless doesn't mean they don't have a family that they love,” Carpenter said. “Things are difficult. It's easy to overlook homeless people, but they have loving families, they matter, and this story exemplifies that.”
