The US Immigration and Customs Enforcement has arrested Marvin Mateo Alberto, a 35-year-old Honduras national accused of incest and aggravated sexual assault in a joint operation involving multiple federal agencies. ICE was forced to search for the accused sex offender after local law enforcement failed to respect immigrant detainees filed at the Adult Detention Center in Fairfax County.
His release was intentional and demanded by public policy despite his previous deportation due to the serious nature of the US immigration judge, ice detainees and criminal charges against Mateo Alberto. Fairfax County Public Trust and Confidentiality Policyhas been preventing county law enforcement agencies from working with ICE on issues related to immigration enforcement efforts since 2021.
According to ICE, victims of alleged child sex crimes are between the ages of 13 and 17. Mateo was initially arrested after illegally entering the United States on Eagle Pass, Texas almost 20 years ago. After his arrest by the Border Patrol, he was released after a deportation hearing was awaited.
In a statement issued after his arrest, Washington Ice Erofield Office Director Hot said, “Marvin Mateo Alberto is accused of a very horrifying and intrusive crime, representing a threat to children in the Virginia community, and therefore cannot maintain the possibility that Mateo could potentially threaten other children in his neighborhood.”
Mateo Alberto was deported by an immigrant judge during the George W. Bush administration in April 2006. Still, he had no federal custody, so the order was not enforced. In January 2025, Fairfax County police officers arrested Mateo Alberto. They accused him of incest with a child between the ages of 13 and 17, exacerbating the sexual assault: a child between the ages of 13 and 17 and a parent. An illegal alien in Hongjuran has been detained at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center. Despite the formal demands to detain Mateo Alberto, filed through ice enforcement and removal activities, he was released awaited criminal trial.
Mateo Alberto was one of the aliens who targeted ICE during a recent immigration enforcement raid in and around Fairfax County last week. In addition to Mateo Alberto and the targeted people for the surgery, several other illegal foreigners were also arrested on their target list.
an ABC7 News Crew Authorities accompanied the ice agent during surgery when they found the pickup truck Mateo Alberto was riding on. Two other illegal foreigners from Honduras were in the vehicle at the time and were also arrested after the truck they were in was stopped by federal agents. The director of the Ice Ero Washington Field Office told ABC7 that the decision not to respect Fairfax County Sheriff’s detainees is dangerous and poses a risk to law enforcement officials.
Mateo Alberto is in ice detention.
