House GOP encounters criticism over sidelines tweet as Marjorie Taylor Greene joins the dissenters.

Responses to a House Republican account’s tweet have raised some eyebrows. This tweet mentioned the need for Americans to engage more actively, perhaps implying that they’ve been too passive. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene from Georgia added her voice to the criticism.

Greene expressed frustration, noting, “Americans stepped up and helped us secure a majority in November. It’s the House GOP that’s not following through on President Trump’s agenda; we’re still waiting on that big, beautiful bill.”

Blazetv host Auron McIntyre criticized House Republicans, asking, “Can we at least get one decent bill handed out?” He further emphasized that voters expected more from their elected representatives. Mark Mitchell from Rasmussen echoed this sentiment, stating that the party is squandering the trust of those who elected them.

Shortly after these posts circulated, the House GOP account tweeted messages in both English and Spanish, which sparked further backlash.

In response to navigating the divide, House Republicans asserted their belief in the potential of all Americans to succeed through hard work. They claimed to celebrate that potential along with their constituents.

Rep. Brandon Gill from Texas reacted strongly, questioning the need for bilingual communication. He tweeted, “Is this a joke, @housegop? We are in America; we speak English.” In another tweet, he added, “Press 2 for English” seems to be the message lost on the GOP.

McIntyre quipped in a separate tweet, “America first! Please select English now,” suggesting dissatisfaction with the party’s current path.
