House Passes Resolution Condemning Kamala Harris’s ‘Failure’ as ‘Border Czar’

The House of Representatives passed a resolution introduced by Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY) condemning Vice President Kamala Harris for her “failures” as “border czar,” with the support of all Republicans and six Democrats.

On Thursday, 214 House Republicans and six House Democrats Voted He criticized Harris for “failing to fulfill the role” given to her by President Joe Biden in March 2021. Asked He wants her to help stem “migration to our nation’s southern border.”

However, 196 House Democrats voted against the resolution.

“The House of Representatives strongly condemns the Biden Administration and Border Commissioner Kamala Harris for their failure to secure the United States border,” the resolution reads.

The six House Democrats who voted in favor of the resolution were:

  • Congressman Yadira Carabeo (D-Colorado)
  • Rep. Henry Cuellar (D-Texas)
  • Rep. Don Davis (D-North Carolina)
  • Rep. Jared Golden (D-Maine)
  • Representative Mary Sattler Peltola (D-Alaska)
  • Rep. Marie Grusenkamp Perez (D-Wash.)

“Vice President Kamala Harris is not just a failed border agent; she is an extremist on border security and immigration enforcement, as her record as a senator, presidential candidate and vice president makes abundantly clear,” House Homeland Security Committee Chairman Mark Green (R-Tenn.) said in a statement.

In March 2021, President Biden told the nation that Vice President Harris was “best qualified to lead the effort” to stem the flow of illegal immigrants across the southwest border. No rational person could look back on the years that followed and conclude with anything other than that she was totally unfit and a total failure. While Democrats and their allies in the media rush to excuse VP Harris’ abject failure to end the crisis that she and President Biden created, Congress has demonstrated with this resolution that it wants the American people to know the truth. Also this week, Rep. Andy Ogles (R-Tenn.) introduced articles of impeachment alleging that Harris has “willfully refused to comply with immigration law” after the Biden-Harris administration has overseen the passage of approximately 11 million migrants at the U.S. border since the beginning of 2021.

The Biden-Harris administration has implemented an extensive parole pipeline that admits hundreds of thousands of migrants into American communities each month as part of a strategy to expand the capture and release network at the southern border.

Since January 2023, the parole pipeline has admitted about 1.2 million migrants.
