“'Movies, football, beer, and above all gambling filled the horizons of their minds. It was not difficult to keep them under control,'” Glenn read from the pages of Orwell's novel. That's what's happening now,” he added.
“Orwell wrote this long before George Floyd and modern corporate life. He knew nothing about organizations like the World Economic Forum or ESG. We were talking about sex, and that goes back to the Wilson administration,” Glenn explains.
“Orwell's nightmare is now our reality as far as control is concerned. Imagine the power this brings – money. This is why Donald Trump and those who collaborate with him are at risk.” said Glenn, noting that just 12 companies own 550 of the major consumer goods brands Americans rely on.
“This is not an anti-corporate rant. Go ahead and make money, grow your company and do what you need to do,” he added.
