This weekend, the Savannah Bananas and local firefighters are taking over Nationals Park for an event featuring the unique game format known as Banana Ball, which blends baseball with entertainment, much like the Harlem Globetrotters do with basketball.
The Savannah Bananas are touring throughout the summer, competing against three other teams: the firefighting crew, the Party Animals, and the Texas Tailgators.
