MILWAUKEE — The Hulkster stormed the stage at the Republican National Convention Thursday night.
A tanned, muscular Hulk Hogan stepped back from the podium and proudly removed his shirt onstage during his speech, revealing a red Trump Vance tank top.
The crowd immediately erupted in thunderous applause as they watched the WWE legend show off his energetic wrestling moves in the ring.
“I didn’t come out here as Hulk Hogan, but I just wanted to give you a taste,” roared Hogan, whose real name is Terry Bollea.
“I’m here tonight because I want the world to know that Donald Trump is a true hero,” he added. “I’m proud to endorse my hero as the next president of the United States.”
“He’s going to win it in November, and when he does, we’ll all be champions again.”
The burly former professional wrestler demonstrated his toughness by eloquently recounting some of the battles Trump has faced in politics and the legal field.
“In my career, I’ve been in the ring with some of the biggest, toughest men on the planet,” Hogan boasted, “I know tough men, but I tell you, brother, Donald Trump is the toughest of them all.”
“Despite every investigation, impeachment and lawsuit, Trump still stands up and continues to defeat them,” he continued. “There has never been a better time than the Trump era, when our economy was thriving, our borders were strong, our streets were safe, and there was peace and respect around the world.”
Hogan argued that since then, “we’ve lost everything,” and noted that “only Donald Trump can settle this.”
Trump smiled from his box seat in the convention stands as Hogan praised him.
“I want my kids, your kids, and all of you Hulkamaniacs on TV to live the American Dream,” he said. “And this November, guys, we can save the American Dream for all of us.”
“All of you scoundrels, vile men, drug dealers and corrupt politicians need to answer one question: What are you going to do when Donald Trump and his supporters come against you?” he said to thunderous applause.
Not to be outdone by the former professional wrestler, UFC chief executive Dana White was scheduled to be the 45th president’s final speaker.
