Hulk Hogan has reportedly shown a lack of interest in meeting his daughter, Brooke Hogan’s twins, following years of distance, according to her husband, Stephen Olexy.
Olexy, a former NHL player, mentioned that he has tried to reach out to Hulk in hopes of mending their relationship, but without success. He expressed his disappointment in an interview, stating that Brooke’s twins, born in January, had attempted to connect with Hulk “about a month and a half later.” He added, “I texted again and checked on where he stood, but he wasn’t interested.”
Olexy, 39, also shared that Brooke’s brother, Nick, had offered to take their father to see the twins, but that plan never materialized.
In July, Hogan passed away at 71 after suffering cardiac arrest and battling leukemia in secret. Brooke and Hogan, who are estranged, last spoke in September 2023, just before his unexpected death. Following his passing, Brooke addressed their strained relationship, stating that their issues weren’t due to any “big battle” but rather personal matters that remained private.
She noted, “My father and I didn’t ‘fight.’ There were a lot of personal calls, and perhaps no one truly understands.” Brooke indicated that her father had distanced himself during his health struggles after she and Olexy relocated to Florida to reconnect with him.
Recently, it was reported that Brooke might not inherit significant assets from her father. Sources suggested that she requested to be removed from his will, citing concerns over whom he trusted. Olexy expressed that Brooke’s choice stemmed from wanting to honor her father’s best interests after his death.
He remarked, “The money doesn’t define what he achieved in the ring. A lot of it came at the cost of my wife’s dignity, built on hurtful remarks about her and her past.” Olexy referred to the controversy surrounding Hulk’s use of racial slurs, which came to light in 2012, leading to a major lawsuit against Gawker. Hulk won $31 million in settlement from that case.
