Hulk Hogan’s Widow Reacts to Emmy Exclusion
Linda Hogan, the widow of wrestling icon Hulk Hogan, is expressing her frustration over his omission from the Emmy Awards’ annual “In Memoriam” segment. She believes this exclusion is linked to Hogan’s political views, which she feels diverge from mainstream Hollywood sentiments.
Linda conveyed her disappointment, stating, “I can’t prove it. It’s just a guess, but they should have recognized him!” according to reports.
The couple was married in 1993 but divorced in 2009. Hulk Hogan passed away from a heart attack in July.
Linda reminisced about his significant impact on wrestling, noting that during his peak years, he garnered the highest ratings on NBC, outperforming many competitors for over a decade. “I don’t really understand why they overlooked him,” she added.
After his passing, she honored him on social media, sharing her grief. “I was crying all day. It feels surreal. We’ve known him since we were young. My love for him hasn’t faded.”
Indeed, Hogan was a vocal supporter of Donald Trump, having appeared at the 2024 GOP National Convention, where he spoke passionately to the audience, expressing his concerns and wearing a T-shirt that read, “Trump, Vance – Making America Great Again! 2024.”
At the event, he commented on issues concerning American values and politics, emotionally tearing his shirt as he rallied the crowd, urging them to embrace what he referred to as “Trump Mania.”
