Hunter Biden claims he wasn't convinced the 'laptop from hell' truly belonged to him

Hunter Biden Denies Ownership of Controversial Laptop

Hunter Biden, the eldest son of former President Joe Biden, has stated he doesn’t believe the “laptop from hell,” which was reported on in the lead-up to the 2020 presidential election, truly belonged to him. This assertion came during a lengthy interview with journalist Tommy Christopher.

In the interview, Biden emphasized his lack of memory regarding leaving the device at a Delaware computer repair shop. When asked directly whether he believed the laptop was his, he firmly said, “No, 100%.” This comment attracted attention, particularly given the controversy surrounding the laptop’s contents, which were first reported by the Post.

Biden expressed confusion when the news broke, saying he didn’t quite understand the situation. He described his state of mind at that time as “very, very, very confused.”

The reporting from the Post brought to light questionable business dealings involving Biden and his family, prompting some Democratic leaders and allies to dismiss it as Russian disinformation.

The laptop contained several sensitive images that chronicled Biden’s struggles with addiction and personal encounters. This material eventually played a role in federal legal actions against him for gun-related offenses, although he was later pardoned by his father during the last days of his administration.

Throughout the conversation, Biden consistently responded “no” when asked if he remembered dropping off the laptop. He did, however, acknowledge that “the vast majority” of the content on the device was authentic.

Interestingly, he remarked on the nature of the hard drive, saying, “First of all, there’s no real thing called a laptop,” and continued to explain that the hard drive ended up being a collection of materials that were hacked or manipulated in some way.

This all stemmed from an incident in 2019, when Biden left the laptop at a repair shop. The shop owner, John Paul Mac Isaac, noted alarming materials on the device and eventually alerted the FBI and a contact associated with Rudy Giuliani, which led to a series of significant reports about the Biden family’s business activities overseas.
