Hunter Biden investigation will proceed after father leaves White House, Jordan says

Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio), chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, said in an interview Thursday that the investigation into Hunter Biden's criminal conduct will continue. politiko.

“I think we need to look to special counsel David Weiss,” Jordan told the outlet.

But former FBI intelligence officer Alexander Smirnov's false testimony about Biden's dealings has cast doubt on the family's claims of collective wrongdoing, which some say was instigated by political opponents.

Jordan's comments about further investigations into Hunter come under President-elect Trump, who has long criticized Democrats for promoting baseless legal battles.
