Lunden Roberts, a former stripper and mother of Hunter Biden’s illegitimate daughter, Navy Joan, is set to release a “rollercoaster” tell-all memoir in August, the week of the Democratic National Convention (DNC).
Roberts plans to publish a memoir. Stepping Out of the Shadows: My Life in the Wild World of Hunter BidenOn August 20, he detailed his “tumultuous” relationship with Biden. according to Published by Sky Horse Publishing, the memoir’s release coincides with the Democratic National Convention, which will be held in Chicago, Illinois from August 19-22.
This comes nearly a year after Biden and Roberts settled their child support dispute. As part of the settlement, Biden agreed to pay Roberts $5,000 a month in child support for their estranged daughter.
“He sat at his desk at Rosemont Seneca wearing only parrot-print boxer briefs, organizing his pipes,” according to an excerpt from Roberts’ forthcoming autobiography. “I was sitting in Barack Obama’s actual chair across the Senate floor. I looked at Hunter again, and pictured this gentle, passionate, remarkably transparent man, and thought, ‘I want to get to know this guy better.'”

In her memoir, Roberts writes about her journey from Arkansas to Washington, D.C., and how her “first meeting” with Biden became a “wild journey” that has impacted her life.
The book’s description on the publisher’s website reads:
Out of the Shadows is a rollercoaster chronicle of a relationship, touching on a dope cook working in the Rosemont Seneca kitchen, a strip club where Hunter herself might try pole dancing, protecting him from a potential terrorist in New York City, a night when she was sure she had no choice but to grab two guns and kill a crazed mixed martial artist, and many other stories that make laptop disasters seem like an everyday occurrence.
Biden had previously denied being Navy Joan’s father, but a paternity test in 2019 proved him to be the father.
