Harvard Law Professor Emeritus Alan Dershowitz said on Thursday’s Newsmax TV broadcast of “The Record” that he “cannot support a party that has Liz Warren and Bernie Sanders in it,” and also supported those who boycotted Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s speech on Wednesday, saying, “Boycott the boycotters. If you boycott Netanyahu, I will boycott you. I will not vote for you, I will not support you, I will not give you any financial support.” He also said, “The Liz Warrens of the world are anti-American, anti-Israel, anti-democratic.”
Dershowitz said:[T]Democrats who support Hamas are driving people like me out of the Democratic Party. I hear that from many friends who have been Democrats like me since the days of John F. Kennedy and Lyndon Johnson. I cannot sympathize with a party whose 80 members apply a biased double standard and decide not to listen to Netanyahu’s speeches. … I cannot support a party that has Liz Warren and Bernie Sanders and 80 people walk out. My idea is to boycott those who boycott. If you boycott Netanyahu, I will boycott you. I will not vote for you, support you, or give you any financial support. Be pro-American. America benefits from our relationship with Israel. The majority of our congressmen and senators, mostly Republicans but also some Democrats, support Israel. The majority of the American people support Israel. The Liz Warrens of the world are anti-American, anti-Israel, and anti-democracy.
