The American Maia lived as an Israeli transgender man on October 7, 2023, but when the Siren ran to the bomb shelter on the day of Hamas' brutal attack, she cherished her very much. I realized that gender ideology is frivolous and belief in active war zones.
“I wasn't too worried about all of this gender crap,” Maia, 25, told the Post. “I had to save myself and I realized there is something more important in life than my gender discomfort.”
She says the “whole” of gender transition began when she realized she was attracted to her female classmates as a tween.
“There was no lesbian culture by the time I was approaching age because gender ideology was totally destroyed,” said the Pacific Northwest native, who was Doxxed by a transgender activist, and shared his last name online. Maia said, not. “I didn't have a good role model. All the lesbians I knew were transitioning.”
That's when Maia began to think that she was a boy because she was attracted to girls and began watching a documentary about trans kids on her iPad.
“The algorithms attacked me with more and more trans content, and I latched super hard,” she recalled.
She came out as a transgender person at age 12, but her parents, who described her as “a very intelligent Soviet Jewish type,” said the “natural skepticism surrounding Soviet backgrounds and institutions and dogmas.” “I was very skeptical because of that.”
They refused the request for a chest binder, so Maia turned to the internet to learn how to compress her breasts with an ace bandage and multiple sports bras. She began to sleep in the painful rigging.
When Maia went to university to study political science, she bought a chest binder, changing her name and pronoun.
Her parents learned that she had a social transition in 2019, during her sophomore year of college, and gave her an ultimatum. Maybe she'll see through gender ideology.
Maia chose Israel. Because she was Jewish and had an international research programme available through the school. She was there in 2021 when a conflict broke out between Israel and Palestine. He was then shocked to see her cheering at Hamas, hiding in a bomb shelter.
“My heart was just racing [constantly] Because we don't know when the next bomb siren will arrive,” she recalls. “But while I was running to bomb, I was persistent in trying to convince my friends to stop supporting Hamas.
This experience has led her to question the political left.
“I had a lot of awareness that was a kind of foundation. [detransitioning] “The trajectory I will continue on later, and one of these perceptions was that I was lying to the left about Israel and Palestine,” she said. “I'm starting to be very disillusioned.”
This experience sent her “Right-wing rabbit hole” which had the questionable aspects of trans ideology, especially the concept of trans women and non-binary.
“I started to get like a marinade with those ideas, but it was a very slow process,” Maia said. “I was weaving myself into this complicated social web that everyone knew me as a guy who thought I couldn't get out.”
It wasn't until October 7th that the truth about her transition became impossible to ignore.
Maia and her friends were seriously considering going to the Nova Festival, where Hamas massacred more than 300 concert participants and took 40 hostages, but they were able to find a ride at the last minute. No, the tickets were expensive.
Instead, she wakes up in her Jerusalem apartment, where a boom of bomb sirens and iron domes intercepted missiles and fled for a bomb shelter.
“I was sweating, shaking, nervous, so I had to run,” she said. “I didn't have time to put on the breast binder. I just had to go crazy and I had to feel my body moving naturally.
At the bomb shelter, she watched a live stream of people whose age was executed on social media. She will later find out she is her drinking buddy.
“It was a moment when I was, and it was even hell about why I was doing this trance thing already,” she said. “To play all of these transmind games, it took up so much brain space. My body is the only thing that allows me to survive, and my body is sick I realized that it's not science.”
Maia now likens transideology to “luxurious beliefs.” Popularized by author Rob Henderson Explaining sustainable ideology only for those who can afford to ease themselves from reality.
“War-torn countries have limited medical resources to turn sick people into healthy people, but in a wealthy country like the United States, essentially bringing young healthy people to lifelong lives. There are unlimited resources to turn into a medical patient [with gender-affirming care]She said.
“We are changing people's healthier bodies forever so that they can make them healthier,” she continued. “If you think about this, this is total insanity. If you end up in a war zone, you can't rely on big pharmaceuticals for your hormones for the rest of your life.”
Her parents bought her a plane ticket for the house the following week, and she returned “in a torn” – lamenting friends and acquaintances who died at the Nova Festival, saying, “I've been lying for a long time. I recovered from the psychological aftermath of realizing this.”
Maia now equates with being a lesbian woman and lives with her parents. She is a freelance writer, suckle and she is Written under the poet of Maia in Monica.
“Part of what delayed my damage was absolutely disgusting to admit that my parents were right. I was so mad at them for many years, but now I am very grateful. I'm doing it,” Maia said.
When she stopped bonding her breasts as part of her injury, she realized that her ribs and lower back pain had not disappeared and that there was no problem with her posture either. Her breast tissue is irreversibly deformed, she said.
“No one told me this was permanent,” she said. I recall a Tumblr post that promised her binding was a temporary solution.
As Maia is working on permanent damage, she warns that simply banning the medicalization of trans youth will not repair all wounds caused by ideology.
“If we ban medical transitions, kids will do exactly what I did, tying their breasts, pushing their genitals in, and still causing permanent damage to their bodies.” She predicted. “The harm of this ideological begins before a doctor or before the gender clinic is involved. It begins when a young person adopts this belief about himself and adopts that they were born in the wrong body. .”
