At 93 years old, Barbara Eden may have discovered the fountain of youth.
The Disney Dream star, whose birthday is on August 23, has no plans to back down from activities. He recently made an appearance at Fanboy Expo Comic-Con and will be taking part in Adam Scott Roth's exhibit, “Disney Fine Art,” at Wyland Gallery in Orlando, Florida, on October 18.
The actress told Fox News Digital that staying active is key to looking and feeling youthful.

“I was always working out,” Eden said. “I went to spinning classes and did weight training with a trainer. … Then COVID hit and I stopped training hard. Now I have a stationary bike and I lift five pounds. I use very light weights, but it's good for my bones.”
While Eden enjoys the comfort of working out at home, she misses going to the gym and training with other people.
“There's a lot of camaraderie and I love the spinning classes,” she says. “It motivates me. I'm not a very self-motivated person, so I have to remind myself to get on the bike.”

The “I Love Lucy” star suggested trying out different workout routines to find what you like and what suits your lifestyle, and she also pointed out that this keeps your sweat sessions interesting.
“I remember when aerobics was all the rage,” she says. “It's good for you. I tried it, but it wasn't for me. But walking? That's a different story. If you can walk briskly, it's good for you. It's good for your knees and ankles. It's better than running.”

Eden doesn't just rely on daily training, he also practices proper eating, as his parents taught him, and the habit has stuck.
“I was lucky to have parents who cared about healthy eating and living,” she explained. “My mom's motto was 'everything in moderation.' That's how they lived their lives, and that's how I lived my lives too.”
“I love Italian food. German food. I love schnitzel, especially with a squeeze of lemon. And of course, I grew up in San Francisco, so Italian food was great, Chinese food was great too. But my friend would disagree. She always says New York is the best, but I think San Francisco is.”

“I have a sweet tooth, too,” she admitted. “I love sweet things. I love Key lime pie. My sister got it for me for my birthday. I also love angel food cake. I make my own angel food cake and have this really sharp, sweet lemon icing on top. And chocolate, of course. I love it. You can't go wrong with me. Want to get you something? Anything sweet.”
Despite dressing up in glamorous outfits on set, Eden said she prefers a simple skincare routine to keep her skin smooth and supple.
“I wash my face with Cetaphil every night,” she says, “it's very gentle. I also use Estée Lauder Repair Serum every night. I've been using serums on my face since I was a teenager. But keeping my face clean is really important. If I wear makeup, I remove it with a gentle, foaming cleanser. I never go to bed without washing my face. I want it to be moisturized and clean when I go to bed.”

“I learned how to do makeup on set,” she said. “Working with the best makeup artists in Hollywood means you're working with the best makeup artists, so of course you have to learn.”
“I learned how to apply eyeliner. I'd never done it before and didn't know I could do it. But now it's easy to learn how to do your own makeup. I remember going to the hospital and the nurses had these beautiful curled eyelashes. It felt like I was on set!”

Eden had a successful career in Hollywood spanning decades, co-starring with Elvis Presley in “Flaming Star,” and the sitcom star said keeping busy keeps him young.

“Connecting with my fans is really important to me,” she explained. “First of all, I feel like I have a really great group of people who love my work. No one's been rude. No one's crossed the line. Everywhere I go, everyone's polite and fun to be around.”

Eden recalled running into a group of “Genies” one memorable Halloween.
“I don't encourage this at all, but I remember three lads from college turning up on my doorstep, all dressed up as Genie – ponytails, pink pants and all – and just having fun pretending to be Genie. It was fun. Weird, but fun!”

When asked what has driven her all these years, Eden admitted she doesn't know. The drive has always been there.
“I don't think about it,” she said. “A psychiatrist would say I want to be productive, not sit on the shelf and do nothing. I think if I wasn't doing what I'm doing now, I'd go out and get a job, push myself, be part of civilization… If you don't make an effort, you're not going to get anything done. That's not good. I would just say stay busy, be productive. That's very important… for me it's important.”
Eden has earned many credits, but she doesn't dwell on the past. She's focused on moving forward.

“I don't really think about it,” she said. “I don't sit and think about it, I just go and do it…time goes by and I go with it.”
