‘I support him’: Melania Trump glows as she discusses her husband, slams attacks from Dems, media, and would-be assassins

Former First Lady Melania Trump spoke with Ainsley Earhart.fox & friendsDuring the conversation, first lady Melania Trump expressed unwavering support for her husband, former President Donald Trump, and condemned those who seek to harm him.

Earhart asked Melania several questions about Trump's political career, which began in 2015. Although Melania acknowledged that the first lady position comes with “special responsibilities,” he seems eager to take on it again.

“No one should put up with something like that.”

“I support him,” she said of her husband's 2024 campaign. “I know how passionate he is about making America great again.”

She claimed that under the Trump administration, “the border was more secure than ever. There was no war. People were prospering, they had jobs, they were able to feed their families.”

She also said her husband brought “peace through strength” to America. Then, under the “weak leadership” of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, American soldiers were once again “dying” in a disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan.

“The record is[] That speaks for itself,” Melania said.

Melania flashed her trademark smile throughout the interview, but her expression became more solemn as she discussed multiple assassination plots against her husband.

“They were truly a miracle,” she said.

“I think something was watching over him. I think it's like that.” [our] The country really needs him. ”

Within minutes, Melania Trump explained: butler shootingshe frantically called her husband and, when those attempts failed, tried to contact the Secret Service to get news about Trump's condition.

“No one really knew yet, because…you see him on the floor and you don't know what actually happened,” she recalled.

“I then called the Secret Service and they said he was OK.”

First lady Melania Trump praised the Secret Service staff, calling them “amazing” and “fantastic.”

But when Earhart confronted her about the possible security flaw, she became visibly angry. First Lady Melania responded by condemning the vitriol being spewed about President Trump by the media and Democratic Party officials.

“Is it really shocking that such terrible violence should be perpetrated against my husband?… Opposition leaders and mainstream media have branded my husband a threat to democracy, despicable I hear people saying bad things.

“They're just stirring up a toxic atmosphere and giving them power.” [to] All these people… are trying to harm him. This has to stop. ”

Melania, who recently wrote a memoir of the same name to correct “misinformation and lies” about her, also detailed the August 2022 Mar-a-Lago attack, in which a stranger stole her personal belongings. He described the scavenging experience as extremely “unpleasant”.

“No one should put up with something like that,” she argued.

Other aspects of their conversation were much more uplifting. First lady Melania Trump recalled the “energy” of the troops she and President Trump showed off overseas on Christmas Day 2018. She also touched on her husband's infamous “strong tweet.”

Finally, she expressed optimism about the upcoming elections.

“He wants this country to prosper and everyone to be safe. [the] “The American dream is possible again,” she said.
