‘I Will Never Yield, Not Even in Face of Death’

Former President Donald Trump returned to Butler, Pennsylvania, for a rally Saturday night, the same location where he nearly lost his life in an assassination attempt on July 13.

That day, the former president emerged from a crowd of Secret Service agents with his right ear shot and his face covered in blood, shouting, “Fight, fight, fight,” as he told the audience he had survived despite an attempt on his life. Shown in The second assassination attempt occurred in September while he was golfing at the Trump International Golf Course in West Palm, Beach.

On Saturday, President Trump told a crowd of supporters at the Butler Farm Show that he would “never give up in the face of death.”

“[F]Since the beginning of this journey, I have been on a mission to save our country from a failed and highly corrupt political system. Very corrupt. That has to change. We also need a very free and open press, and we need to give that back to the country that you believe in and I believe in. This is the country we were born into and this is the country you deserve,” he said.

“I will never quit. I will never bend. I will never break. I will never give in, even in the face of death itself,” he continued.

He added that what opponents “never understand” is that the MAGA movement “was never about me.”

“It's always been about you. It's been about a lot of people. Millions and millions of people. It's the largest in the history of this country, probably the largest in the history of any country. And every day, our… People who are the heart and soul of the country, they love our movement, they love our country, and they know they're doing the right thing: Your hope is my hope. “Your dreams are my dreams, and I'm fighting for your future every day,” he said.
