Former President Donald Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner has said he will not return to the White House if Trump wins in November.
Kushner said Tuesday that he wished his father-in-law well but had no intention of joining the White House for a second term, choosing instead to focus on his investment firm Affinity Partners.
“I was very fortunate to play a role in the campaign and to be part of the administration,” Kushner said. “They’re doing a great job,” Kushner added. “And I suspect that if he were to become president again, he would have even more of the same level of competency and professionalism than he did in the previous administration.”
Jared’s wife, Ivanka Trump, has already said she will not support her father’s campaign and will not return to the White House if he wins.
“I love my father very much. This time, I have decided to prioritize my young children and the private life we are building as a family. I have no intention of getting involved in politics,” she said. Said last year.
“I will continue to love and support my father, but will now do so outside of the political arena. I will always be proud of my accomplishments,” she added.
