Recent ICE Arrests Highlight Criminal Illegal Aliens
Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers have taken several criminal illegal aliens into custody, including individuals convicted of serious crimes such as murder and child sexual abuse.
A recent press release from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) reveals that five arrests were made by ICE on Wednesday alone.
“President Trump has emphasized that breaking the law results in consequences,” the statement noted.
According to the press release, ICE reported the apprehension of illegal aliens with previous convictions related to violent crimes, which include murder, child molestation, and drug offenses.
Interestingly, DHS mentioned that roughly 70% of immigration arrests involve illegal aliens with prior convictions in the U.S.
Among those arrested was Santos Cornelio Ramos Vazquez, an illegal immigrant from Guatemala. He is a registered sex offender who faced conviction in Los Angeles for multiple counts of lewd acts with a minor under 14.
Additionally, Cesar Verduzco Rojas, an illegal alien from Mexico, was apprehended. He had previously been convicted of murder in Perris, California, where he is accused of killing a young man in 2021. The victim was discovered in a car, having died from gunshot wounds.
Another arrest involved Jermaine Dalton Crossley, an illegal alien from Jamaica. He has a prior conviction for third-degree murder in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, related to a shooting incident involving a man who had allowed him to stay on his property.
Albert Eleazar Blanco, from Venezuela, was also arrested. His criminal background includes a conviction for forcible sexual abuse in Utah, where he currently resides.
The last individual mentioned in the DHS announcement was Jose Manuel Luis Preciado, an illegal alien from Mexico, who faced convictions for possession of methamphetamine and intent to distribute.
“The media and those in sanctuary cities continue to overlook the criminal illegal aliens that ICE is removing from communities,” commented DHS Acting Assistant Secretary Lauren Biss.
“In just one day, multiple murderers, pedophiles, and drug traffickers were taken off the streets. President Trump has made it clear: illegal aliens committing crimes are not welcome here,” Biss added.
