ICE Detains Undocumented Immigrant with 49 Previous Arrests

Immigration Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials, along with several other undocumented individuals across the U.S., have made arrests in California, totaling 49 prior criminal apprehensions.

This past weekend, ICE agents took into custody Miguel Barrera Corona, a Mexican undocumented immigrant with a record of 49 previous arrests, including a conviction for assault with a deadly weapon—a concealed dagger.

“During the weekend, ICE apprehended individuals involved in drug trafficking, human trafficking, child predation, and sexual offenses. One of these undocumented criminals has been arrested 49 times before,” stated Tricia McLaughlin from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

The statement elaborated:

Sanctuary city leaders have enabled this repeat offender to endanger American residents. President Trump and Secretary Noem have empowered ICE to target the most dangerous individuals and expedite their removal from our nation.
