ICE Arrests Undocumented Immigrants with Serious Criminal Convictions

On Monday, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) apprehended several undocumented immigrants linked to severe offenses, including child sexual assault and armed robbery. This comes amid a staggering rise—over 1,150%—in assaults on ICE agents.

In one case from Massachusetts, a Salvadoran individual faced multiple convictions for child rape. Other arrests were made across states like New Jersey, New York, Texas, and California, where illegal immigrants were convicted of violent crimes.

Tricia McLaughlin, Assistant Secretary at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), stated, “Even with a dramatic rise in assaults against law enforcement, our agents remain committed to arresting the most dangerous illegal aliens who commit crimes.” She emphasized that those apprehended included “pedophiles, sex offenders, and armed robbers.”

McLaughlin asserted that violence against law enforcement will not hinder efforts to remove criminal illegal aliens from communities in America.

DHS listed some of the most dangerous offenders arrested recently:

Juan Ramos Ramos

Juan Ramos Ramos, an undocumented immigrant from Honduras, was found guilty of sexual assault of a minor, aggravated sexual contact, and other serious charges in Hudson, New Jersey.
