Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raided the Chinese-owned Fuyao Glass America in Moraine, Ohio, on suspicion of human trafficking and money laundering. The company was featured in a 2019 Netflix documentary produced by former President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama’s production company.
On Friday, local media report ICE agents have raided about 30 companies, including the Chinese-owned Fuyao factory in Montgomery County, Ohio, on suspicion of human trafficking and money laundering.

Special agents from the Department of Homeland Security, working with IRS-Criminal Investigation and other law enforcement agencies, are executing a federal search warrant at Fuyao Glass America. and 27 other locations in the Dayton area were investigated as part of an ongoing criminal investigation. Special agents are on scene and are investigating allegations of financial crimes and labor exploitation. There are large police forces in Dayton, Liberty Township, Miamisburg, Moraine and West Carrollton, however there is no threat to public safety at this time. Please avoid areas of high police activity. [Emphasis added]
