ICE reports arrest of person previously removed 6 times

According to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, authorities have arrested a Honduran national who had been deported from the United States six times.

The gang member, who was arrested on February 1 after illegally entering the United States near Newport, Vermont, has a significant criminal history, according to ICE. press release is shown.

“The Honduran was deported from the United States in January 2006 and twice in June 2013, February 2015, July 2015, and February 2016. During immigration inspection, he admitted to being a member of the Sicarios New Yorkers-XV-18 chapter of the 18th Street Gang.” ICE pointed out.

“In October 2022, a Honduran court convicted him on drug trafficking charges and sentenced him to four years and six months in prison. The court has issued an arrest warrant.” stated in the press release. “The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) arrested gang members on February 1, 2024, after illegally entering the United States near Newport, Vermont, without being inspected by a designated immigration official, admitted, or paroled. He was arrested again.”

This arrest demonstrates the importance of border security for public safety.

Border Patrol Chief Jason Owens noted that authorities recently arrested a Mexican man who was serving time for sexually abusing a minor. “USBP agents in Laredo, Texas, have arrested another child predator who was attempting to enter our country illegally.
